Dismissals:

If you know ahead of time that your child is to be dismissed from school, please send in a note with your child indicating the time and general reason.

Tardiness:

If your child is going to be late to school, a parental note is required explaining the tardiness. It is also expected that you indicate the time you expect your child to arrive at school. School Cancellation:

If regularly scheduled classes are canceled or delayed for any reason, announcements will be made over AM radio stations WBZ (1030), WRKO (680), and Boston television channels 4, 5, and 7. Due to unforeseen emergencies (usually weather), it may be necessary to close school early to insure the safety of our students. Parents and students should discuss what to do when/if this situation occurs. This is especially important when parents are away from home during the school day. It is not possible for the schools to notify parents in advance of such an emergency.

To learn more about cancellations and sign up for automatic notifications, please select QPS Info from the main menu, and then click on School Cancellation.
